Our standards
Every stack Rubric recommends is built only from Rubric Approved tools. This page explains how a tool earns the badge, what we leave out, and how we stay independent.
How a tool becomes Rubric Approved
- 01
We use it ourselves
Someone on the team signs up, sets it up for a real use case and uses it before it is listed.
- 02
We read what customers say
We check public ratings and reviews for recurring problems with billing, support or reliability.
- 03
We check the pricing page
Prices in Rubric come from the tool's own pricing page and show the month we last checked.
- 04
We leave out risky categories
Tools built for spam, scraping, tracking people or getting around platform rules are never listed.
Approved tools are re-checked over time and lose the badge when they no longer meet these standards.
Independent by design
We take no ads, no affiliate fees and no payment for placement. Tools cannot pay to be listed or ranked.
Rubric is paid for only by its subscribers.
Ideas we don’t plan stacks for
We decline these ideas automatically, and no search credits are used. We also never list tools built for them.

What Rubric is not
Rubric recommends software tools only. It is not business, legal, tax or financial advice. Recommendations are generated automatically from Rubric Approved tools and do not predict revenue or results.
